Nexus Recovery Center

The purpose of Nexus is to empower women and families to break the cycle of addiction.  Nexus serves disadvantaged women, including women with children, and adolescent females.

Nexus Recovery Center has provided residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment in the North Texas area for 36 years and has assisted more than 18,000 women, teenagers and children. Nexus Recovery Center offers programs for adult women, women with accompanying children, and pregnant women or women with infants. There’s also an adolescent program for girls ages 13 to 17.

Aftercare programs are an important part of Nexus Recovery Center’s commitment to its clients’ successful re-entry into the community and family life. Participants can come to a convenient facility for meetings, alumni activities for support, and further treatment if necessary.

And because clients can bring their children with them, Nexus can work with the entire family whose lives have been turned upside down by substance abuse. Parenting classes, family education and counseling, life-skills training, and on-site child care, combined with Nexus’ award-winning treatment programs provide the tools to restore the family and create a brighter future for everyone.
